In 1986 a vision had been realized to develop a very special country club-- a place on the rocky coast of Maine where families and individuals could both celebrate traditions and create their own. It was that year that saw the birth of the Falmouth Country Club.  At the heart of this new Club, a championship golf course was designed by the internationally renowned golf course architectural team Cornish & Silva, Inc. With approximately 425 prime acres of land, Greater Portland’s first true private golf course community was born.

This 18 hole course combines magnificently challenging play with visual beauty. Each memorable hole provides variety-- from the mountainous terrain loop of the first nine through the links-type land on the back.  Bent-grass tees, greens and fairways assure emerald hues and the superior playing surfaces preferred by the best of players. Multiple tees on each hole accommodate all levels of play. With rotation of tees, each game played is from a different perspective. A driving range consisting of a forty thousand square foot bent grass tee, along with a beautifully situated practice green amid a generous putting green, complement the layout and enhance any game.

At 6,879 yards, the course at Falmouth Country Club is a spectacular, important test of any golfer... and one of Maine's most imporant golf traditions.
