Club Championship Qualifying July 11, 2008
Both men and women, medal play. The low 16 qualifiers will advance to match play. One attempt at qualifying only.
The Club Championship for both men and women will be match play. Between July 11th and July 27th will be the qualifying period to determine the low 16 qualifiers. Each of the 16 low qualifiers will then be paired according to qualifying score. Ties will be broken by a scorecard playoff. No handicaps will be used. Once the matches have been established, it will be up to the competitors to arrange their match before the deadline. All matches and qualifying will be played from the black championship tees, women from the green tees.

Men's League Begins July 15, 2008
Our first night of Men's League will consist of a meet your team scramble and dinner after play.
League will run for 10 weeks. Men will play on Tuesday night. Once all interested participants have signed up, all players will be organized in descending handicap order. At this point the field will be divided into A, B, C, and D players. This will ensure that matches will consist of near equal playing ability. The pro-shop will pick the teams. Once the teams have been established, the first night format will be a “get acquainted” team scramble, finishers will be allotted points. There will be a BBQ meal to follow. The next four weeks make up the first half, and the format will be match play. Matches will be arranged so that you play a different opponent each week, within your handicap range. Matches will be posted ahead of time, and it will be every player’s responsibility to arrange a time to play, tee times for league will begin at 4 p.m. Each 9-hole match will be worth a total of 9 points. Each hole in the match is worth 1 point. If you win the hole, you win 1 point. If you tie the hole, each player receives ½ point. If you lose the hole, no points will be gained for your team. It is each player’s responsibility to gain as many points as possible for their respective team. At the end of the first half, each teams total points will be calculated to determine the first half winner. In the event of a tie, the two teams head-to-head match will determine the winner. Each week there will also be individual low gross and net winners within each division as well as closest to the pin contests. The next four weeks of league will make up the second half. The winner of the first half will challenge the second half winner on the final night of league to determine the overall winner. All other teams will play in a consolation tournament on the final night of league. League will wrap-up with an awards banquet.
Women's League Begins July 16, 2008
The first night of Women's League will be team scramble with dinner to follow. Team night counts! Make sure you call for a sub if you cannot make it. League begins at 4 p.m.

Couples Night July 18, 2008
Create your own foursome, or the pro shop will help pair you. Friday nights, 5 p.m. tee times.
Each Friday evening throughout the summer will be couples night. Interested players should sign up during the week, even the day of. The pro-shop will arrange the foursomes, or players can choose their own group. The format may change from week to week. Tee times will start at 5 p.m. Special individual contests will also be included. We hope this will prove to be a nice night out and an opportunity to meet new people! Please call the pro shop after 4pm to get your tee time.

President's Cup Qualifying July 28 - August 10, 2008
The President’s Cup is an individual match play handicap tournament. There are both men’s and women’s divisions. Men will play from the blue member tees, and women will play from the forward green tees. Players will use 100% of their individual handicap, and strokes will be given based off the difference of the lower handicap. There will be a qualifying period to determine the low 16 competitors. Seeding will be based on net qualifying score; ties will be broken by a scorecard playoff. Once the bracket has been established, players must complete their matches within the timeframe provided. It will be the player’s responsibility to arrange matches.

Governor's Cup Qualifying July 28 - August 10, 2008
The Governor’s Cup will be the two-person team match play handicap tournament. There will be both men’s and women’s divisions. 80% of each player’s handicap will be used. Men will play will be from the blue member tees, women will play from the green forward tees. There will be a qualifying period to determine the low 16 teams. The team net better ball will be used to determine the qualifying score. The low 16 teams will then advance to match play. Ties will be broken by a scorecard playoff. Strokes will be provided during the matches based off the difference of the lowest individual handicap. Players must complete their matches within the timeframe provided. It will be the competitor’s responsibility to arrange matches.
