15th Hole Short Fuse

Par 3
Gold 152
Blue 133
Red 103
HCP 16

A cannon's fuse, if cut too short, was an obvious danger to sailors firing the weapon.

Although the Fifteenth is among the shortest holes here at Boothbay, it is a devilish par three that requires the player's full attention. The tee is tucked away in the trees, and the wind is difficult to gauge. Three pot bunkers, cut into the hillside, must be carried to arrive on the putting surface. The wide but shallow green with a hollow in the middle is one of the course's most striking.
